I booked this place last minute, and it exceeded my expectations. Perfectly clean and comfortable. Loved the bath, and was able to prepare a simple meal in the kitchenette. Issie at reception is LOVELY. Kind, welcoming, and helpful. I was exhausted when I arrived, so greatly appreciated her kindness!

Centrally located in Akaroa, this motel offers rooms with either a balcony or a patio. It also includes 500MB of free WiFi per day, per room. Akaroa Criterion Motel is situated opposite Children’s... Excellent location and the room was huge. Immaculate place and owner very helpful.

The rooms very modern and clean! The kitchen area was well stocked and the bathroom had great soaps and had a fantastic shower and tub. The best part however was having the huge window that had a stunning view of mount Cook!! Just amazing!! Also having laundry available was great! (Does cost $4 for wash, $5 for dry but really nice quick machines!) Beds were comfortable and location was awesome. Only a 3 min drive or a 25 min walk to Hook Valley Trail. (And 5 min drive to Mt Cook airport for Heli adventures) Great walking trails behind the hotel as well and several decent food options around the area.

Located on 10 acres of gardens, Golfcourse Road Chalets and Lodge with lovely lake, mountain or golf course views. This was a very good accommodation in a very quiet location. It provided very comfortable space, with a well equipped kitchen, seating, and bedroom area. We also had wifi and off-street parking. A washing machine was also installed in the kitchen.

Northwood Motor Lodge is a 4-star motel on the edge of Christchurch, only 8km from the airport. The motel offers modern, air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The owner or staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very convenient place especially if you need to catch an early flight.
